I did not see any pics of it yet but I can’t say I’m not jealous. we live on opposite sides of the country so I can’t just go over there and play with it.
I doubt it looks like above I’m sure it’s more along the lines of this:
Still super cool. sounds like him and my dad got it running and fixed the brakes already.

Tractors would make a snazzy base for a barn-built aeroplane...

The first thing I ever really drove on my own was my Dad’s old 8N. That thing is still used by it’s new owner.

My dad has a 1948 8N.

Very cool. This made me think back to the tractors that my grandfather had on his farm. I can remember Ford, British Leyland, International, Kubota and New Holland but no John Deeres. That’s kind of strange now that I think of it.

Yup, my folks’ early 50’s model, still in use:

A lot of the aircraft during WWI looked, essentially, like tractors with wings, especially those with inline engines.

There’s a lot of empty space under that cowl for a larger, more powerful engine and reduction gearing. Remove terrestrial navigation components, lengthen the cowl, build an airframe to attach wings and control surfaces...
Inline-engined aircraft from the early 20th century also looked like tractors with wings.

Tractors are used to plow right, well then if we are talking about plowing what happened to your Sabres they got plowed!

I’m surprised you remembered I’m a Sabres fan. Am I that memorable?

I remember useless facts. You told me not to long ago.
